Now what is meant by getting rid of your desire for material objects and people? It means to transform of all your desire for physical comforts, pleasures and things - it means not having greed or lust but instead having simultaneous wisdom and compassion. Then you must get rid of your desire for material objects and people.

If you want to hold the mantra, you have to be sincere in your intent, rectify your mind and cultivate your body. Whoever recites it will become protected by Vajra Treasury Bodhisattvas of Medicine Buddha (Akshobhya Mitrugpa).
